A QUIET BROWSING COMPANION

See your browsing time. Keep what matters.

Timefolio counts time only while a regular web page is visible in the foreground, and stores those records in your browser first. After signing in, you can also save pages, images, and selected text to your account.

CLEAR, RESTRAINED, CONTROLLABLE

Turn browsing time and saved finds into a trail you can revisit.

The extension follows real browser activity: it counts visible foreground time, pauses when you switch away, and saves content only when you deliberately choose a context-menu action.

01

Foreground timing

Counts active time only for regular http/https pages in the focused window, active tab, and visible page.

02

Intentional collection

After signing in, save a page, image, or text selection from the context menu, choose a folder, and add an HTML or Markdown note.

03

Controls within reach

Review site and session statistics in the extension, exclude sites with the browsing whitelist, and manage your account and sync from Settings.

HOW IT ACTUALLY WORKS

Every step maps to something the extension really does.

Browsing records do not require an account; collecting does. If the network is unavailable, browsing records already being written locally continue.

01

Start tracking

Open a regular web page and keep its tab in the foreground. The extension starts counting visible time.

02

Pause or finish

Switching tabs, losing window focus, or hiding the page pauses timing; a URL change or closed tab ends the session.

03

Sign in to collect

Use the context menu to save a page, image, or selected text, then choose a folder and add a note.

04

Review and sync

Review records in the popup or new tab. After sign-in, closed records and collections can sync to your account.

LOCAL FIRST · CLEAR CONTROLS

Browsing records stay in your browser first.

While signed out, browsing sessions and site totals remain in the browser database. After sign-in, closed records and collections can sync to your account; sites you do not want tracked can be added to the browsing whitelist.

  • ✓Track browsing time while signed out
  • ✓No time added while hidden or unfocused
  • ✓Whitelisted sites create no browsing record
